For those afraid to step out and try a new thing, the Washington National Opera, each summer, provides a free summer performance at the National’s Stadium in Washington, D.C. 

The relaxed atmosphere of a baseball diamond with snacks and drink in hand give people a chance to try something out without all the personal drama and risk.  As you will see - the crowds love it.
