It began as an ambitious undertaking
of one broadcast show a month. This was four years ago.
David Brillhart, creative
consultant, producer and director of the first series of
programs was impressed at
Maranatha Volunteers
International's small staff's commitment to this
broadcast which probably netted about six new programs a
year. Then in 2005, Kyle Fiess, VP for Marketing and
Development flew a trial balloon. "Brillhart," he said,
"we'd like to begin a weekly prgoram. Are you in?"
Gulp.
Never known for dodging an impossible
challenge, we said yes. And the rest is history.
Maranatha Mission Stories went weekly as of May 5 of
2007 and hasn't had a repeat since. David Brillhart acts
as a consulting producer for the program, the Director
of the live to tape studio shoots at KVIE in Sacramento,
California and as a field producer/DP for some of the
broadcast's regularly featured field segments. |
