When the National Gallery calls I'm thrilled. Its one of my favorite places to shoot as the setting itself is such a masterpiece of architecture and, of course, the art within its walls represent treasures from around the world. In June 2009 the National Gallery hosted a press event for the opening of the ART of POWER exhibit off the East Garden.

With only a few moments to shoot prior to the VIP tour and the PRESS tours, we were granted access to the exhibit with our HVX-200 and MicroDolly track system. The podcast shows how rich the shooting was - inspired primarily by the art itself. Dolly Grip Lesley Brillhart worked two riggings of track, a semi-circle and straight track. See for yourself, the exhibit is spectacular.

Another event that was inspirational to say the least was the grand opening of the Robert and Jane Meyerhoff Selected Works exhibit in late 2009.
