You're 16. You've just traveled to Lima,
Peru from the U.S. or Canada. You met 250 strangers
who, like you, get on a bus and now travel another 8
hours overnight to a town you've never heard of in
Northern Peru; Chiclayo.
Here, you will set up tents and most
likely use the most primitive of facilities to relieve
yourself. And for 10 days you and these new compadres
of yours will live in a strange new community and build
a church.
It's called the ULTIMATE WORKOUT. It
is the 16th such event and every year it changes
teenagers view of their world and themselves and creates
a bond between cultures.
Worked with an excellent DP in Peru,
Ulises Zavala Perez. He shot with a Sony ZRU1 and
I shot a few images with the Canon XLH1.
