It's an extremely small crew - two people. But the
places and the images are calming and refreshing. Just ask anyone
at the Emergency Department in any of Florida Hospital's 17 facilities.
In the first four months these calm and peaceful high
definition videos played, security calls dropped from an average of 2 a
day to zero! People found the whole experience a little more
restful than watching Jerry Springer.
Brillhart is contracted to create several more of these videos over the
next year.
So far, we've chosen to shoot with either the Sony Z1
or the Canon XL-H1. The Florida images were shot with the latter
and the piece was finished using Final Cut Pro.
